Needles: Size 7 US

Yarn: Red Heart (the cheap stuff) Color:Green(whatever shade you want) 1 skein.(A)
Red Heart Color: Brown (whatever shade) 1 skein (B)


Directions:


Cast on 14 sts with A.

Work in a 1x1 rib for 12 rows.
Switch to B and work for 12 rows.
Continue in this pattern until your scarf reaches your desired length.( I like to make my scarves long so I make it about 45".
Cast off

If desired cut 50 peices of yarn (about 8" in length) to make fringe at both ends



Hint: To make your scarf softer(the Red Heart is NOT soft) either wash it and add fabric softener or wash it in hair conditioner and leave it in for 1 hour.
